bad friendships and other discouragements

I always struggled with friendships in middle school and high school. My mom would always tell me it was temporary and that I would find life-long friends in college, but despite her encouragement, I began to think that maybe there was something wrong with me and that no one really wanted to be my friend. FOLKS that right there is an ugly lie whispered straight from the devil and I believed it for so long!!

Now here I am, a year into college with the LOVELIEST of friends who all have the sweetest heart and a unique way of loving and impacting. God I am so grateful!! His provision continues to blow my mind.

If you are feeling discouraged about friends or any other area of your life, be patient! Remember that God knows exactly what you need when you need it. And sometimes a season of waiting comes before the biggest blessings. Trust in his timing❤
