SOS God!!

WOW I don't know about you, but that speaks right to my heart today. I have had this little handout since I was in 8th grade. I was an insecure

young girl who had been badly hurt by a boy. I was overwhelmed by it all and felt like school was too much to handle. I struggled with having good friends. 9th grade came with more hurt, more broken friendships, more pain from boys. 10th grade was the same, and it built on my insecurities. 11th grade overwhelmed me with all of the testing and pressure to do well and I struggled with depression. 12th grade came with all of that plus college applications and decisions about where to spend the next part of my life. A scary surgery after my graduation left me reeling in fear and confusion. Coming to a new place and leaving my family tipped my whole world upside-down.

Amidst it all, I heard this promise... "Kate, STAND STILL and WATCH me rescue you!! I will fight for you my beloved!" And each time he did. He fought so hard for me and He rescued me EVERY TIME. He pulled me out of every circumstance, every hurt, every dark and disappointing time. So wherever you are at today in life—struggling with friendships, hurting from a boy, feeling burnt out from constant striving, starting a new chapter—remember God's promise: He will fight for you, He will rescue you.
