The Power of Prayer

I often forget the power of prayer. IT'S SO POWERFUL! "And whatever you ask for in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith". Matthew 21:22

We believe in a powerful God who answers prayers! He is incredibly in-tune with you, his ear is constantly turned toward you. He loves it when we talk to him. GUYS LET'S TALK TO HIM! We should be praying at all times (Ephesians 6:18) about EVERYTHING (Philippians 4:6). So why don't we?

The answer is simple: we are SUPER human. We get so preoccupied with our little mini-disasters that we forget the One who loves to be in constant communication with us! I challenge you to stop what you're doing right now. Forget the stress, anxiety, preoccupation, obsessing, and lift it to our God in prayer. He will grant you His heightened perspective as he lifts your from the midst of your circumstances.

A final thought: "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging." Psalm 46:1-3 CHAOS SURROUNDS US but He is our ever-present help and refuge!!
